    Description

    Syndeo has a direct-hire opening for a Manufacturing Engineer (Full-Time, Non-Exempt) for a local client who focuses on parts manufacturing in the aerospace and technology industries.As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of all production-related manufacturing equipment & processes required to manufacture a high-quality product in a repeatable and cost-effective manner.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSUnderstand and interpret customer specifications and create planning for operations to use to manufacture the contracted product or part.Determine capital equipment needs & development of the budget process for equipment, training, software, and equipment installation projectsIncreasing productivity through the support and leadership of people, processes and technologyDrive continuous improvement in labor costs through waste reduction, production efficiency, and operations improvementProvides leadership to technical personnel to ensure ongoing product & process improvements to meet quality, CI and production goalsProvides technical support as required for critical process and product issuesDesign processes, evaluate results and drive solutions to improve the processesEffectively communicate and coordinate with production, support teams and other team members to resolve issues as they arise.Analyze system requirements, capacity, cost, and customer needs to determine feasibility of a project and development planAnalyze problems identified by operations or quality and to provide an effective workable resolutionSelf-manage daily tasks with minimal supervisionUse Microsoft Outlook to effectively communicate ideas and requests to customers in a professional mannerUse Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint to create work instructions and aidesUse CATIA or equivalent software for both analysis and manufacturing of partsActs as a leader to effectively communicate ideas in a professional mannerProduce repeatable resultsContributes to team effort by accomplishing related assigned tasks as neededQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering is preferred.Knowledge of Contracts, Cost Management, and Aerospace Industry5+ years of industry experienceCATIA or Equivalent SoftwareMicrosoft Office SuiteAbility to read and interpret blueprintsPREFERRED SKILLS/ABILITIESPlanningLeadershipAutonomyAttention to DetailStrong Written CommunicationDeveloping StandardsProblem SolvingOrganizationAnalyticalInterpersonalRelationship BuildingTime ManagementDocumentationCommunicationInitiativeTime-Management#J-18808-Ljbffr
