Job Details

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead new product launches using APQP methodology from validation through full production lifecycle
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives including scrap reduction, CPK/SPC analysis, process mapping, and flow optimization
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure proper equipment selection, validation, and implementation for new and existing programs
  • Implement product specification revisions and support engineering changes
  • Maintain strong quality controls and ensure adherence to established procedures
  • Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth program execution
  • Apply structured problem-solving techniques (8D, 5-Why, Root Cause Analysis) to resolve manufacturing challenges
  • Contribute to a culture of operational excellence and continuous learning

What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
  • 4–6 years of experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of:
  • APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, Control Plans
  • IATF / TS quality standards
  • Process capability analysis and data-driven decision making
  • Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Stable and consistent work history in manufacturing environments
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support plant or customer initiatives

Work Environment:
  • This role is based in an advanced automotive manufacturing setting and involves hands-on collaboration on the production floor. You’ll work closely with operations, quality, and engineering teams to improve performance and drive measurable results.
  • Physical activity may include standing, walking, bending, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. Some travel may be required.
