As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll provide vital engineering support to ensure efficient production and high-quality standards. You'll work closely with the manufacturing team to identify improvement opportunities, support product development, and lead projects that drive cost savings and process enhancements.
What Youll DoAs a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Providing engineering and technical support for daily manufacturing operations and production processes
- Participating in Material Review Board (MRB) activities to identify root causes of non-conformance and implementing corrective actions
- Supporting equipment procurement, installation, calibration, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance
- Developing and maintaining manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and inspection documentation
- Supporting new product launches through tooling development, First Article inspections, and process validation
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives using DMAIC methodology to reduce waste and lower costs
What Youll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations in aerospace, defense, or similarly regulated environments
- Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and ITAR requirements
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement tools
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems and manufacturing documentation
