Manufacturing Engineering

Hours:
7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday through Friday

Pay:
$38.00/hour + based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for process improvement
Offer manufacturing support
Safety leadership
Ensure environmental compliance
Facilities management
Ensure equipment reliability
Improve productivity, quality, safety, and cost performance
Support continuous improvement initiatives, capital projects, and sustainable plant operations
Other general engineering-related duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a plastics manufacturing environment
Experience with plastics processing such as injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, thermoforming, or related processes
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process improvement, and root cause analysis
Experience with OSHA compliance, safety programs, and risk assessment
Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering software applications

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with continuous improvement methodologies
Knowledge of automation and robotics in manufacturing

Preferred Education and Experience:

Degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
Past experience in plastics manufacturing environment

Other Requirements:

On-site work location required
Valid certifications related to safety or engineering preferred
