Your Responsibilities As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to various projects aimed at improving production processes and enhancing product quality. This internship is designed to provide you with practical experience in manufacturing engineering principles, tools, and techniques within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Support the development of tooling and fixture optimization Helping to support current equipment and projects driven from safety and quality concerns Aid in the design and construction of new assembly equipment Assist the programming and implementation of process tracking on new assembly line Conduct time studies and make recommendations for capacity improvements Update work instructions for assembly processes as needed
Who we are looking for Must be pursuing a bachelors degree in manufacturing engineering or mechanical engineering while in sophomore year or higher Willing to work with machinery and make modifications themselves to equipment Preferred knowledge or experience with assembly or machining equipment Strong verbal and written communication skills High level of organizational skills and creative problem-solving skills Strong computer skills MS Office with an ability to learn new systems and tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
