**Role Overview**

The Production Process Engineering Director will oversee a dynamic group of engineers tasked with optimizing production methods and spearheading continuous enhancement initiatives. The role demands cross-departmental collaboration to ensure cost-effective, high-quality manufacturing outcomes.

**Key Duties**

- Guide and nurture a team of Manufacturing Engineers, fostering growth and development.
- Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) effectively.
- Analyze and refine production processes and workflows for improved efficiency.
- Project production timelines, manpower needs, equipment, and manufacturing expenditures.
- Develop and sustain CAD models and technical documents with proficiency in CATIA V5 or equivalent.
- Author detailed engineering drawings and product structures in line with customer specifications.
- Establish precise manufacturing tolerances and process documentation standards.
- Offer technical support and engineering solutions to production teams and subcontractors.
- Harmonize engineering objectives with Operations, Quality, Purchasing, and Production sectors.
- Advocate Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen principles to enhance quality, efficiency, and minimize waste.
- Tackle production challenges through innovative problem-solving and ongoing process enhancement.
- Uphold adherence to safety protocols and quality benchmarks.

**Qualifications**

*Required*

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred (Associate's Degree considered with substantial experience).
- 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience.
- Proven track record in supervisory or leadership roles.
- Experience within aerospace or precision manufacturing fields.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational prowess.

- Expertise with CATIA V5.
- Familiarity with Epicor ERP.
- Proven Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen implementation skills.
- Strong capabilities in CAD and technical documentation.
- Continuous Improvement acumen.
