Manufacturing Engineering ManagerElektro Assemblies | Red Wing, MinnesotaBuild the Manufacturing FutureElektro Assemblies is experiencing rapid, profitable growth and is looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineering Manager to help build the manufacturing capabilities needed to support that growth.This is a key leadership role responsible for process improvement, capacity, productivity, automation, new product introduction, and manufacturing engineering leadership.We need a technical leader who enjoys being on the production floor, solving problems, developing people, and turning ideas into measurable results.What You'll DoLead and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team.Improve productivity, quality, throughput, safety, and cost.Identify and eliminate manufacturing bottlenecks.Lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.Identify and implement automation, tooling, fixtures, and new technology.Lead manufacturing engineering for new product introductions.Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) expertise.Develop processes, work instructions, routings, and standards.Analyze capacity, labor, cycle times, and manufacturing costs.Partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Sales.Develop manufacturing strategies to support significant business growth.The Leader We're Looking ForWe want someone who is hands-on, entrepreneurial, analytical, proactive, and results-driven.You should be comfortable working directly with operators and leadership to identify problems, determine root causes, develop solutions, and drive implementation.What You BringBachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience preferred.Experience leading engineering or technical teams.Strong manufacturing process and problem-solving skills.Experience with Lean and continuous improvement.Experience with new product introduction and DFM.Strong project management skills.Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.Preferred: Electrical/electromechanical manufacturing, wire harness or cable assembly, automation, robotics, ERP/MRP, CAD, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and EOS/Traction experience.Why Join Elektro Assemblies?This is not a maintenance role.
