  • Provide technical leadership for board-mountable electronics, component selection, approved manufacturer strategies, preferred parts, material substitutions, and supplier technical evaluations
  • Partner with R&D, Procurement, Global Commodity Management, Quality, Manufacturing, and NPI teams to ensure components, assemblies, and materials meet design, reliability, manufacturability, cost, compliance, and supply continuity objectives
  • Represent Keysight with suppliers and contract manufacturers on proposed designs, component technologies, manufacturing processes, technical issues, and qualification plans
  • Establish priorities, resource plans, and execution strategies across multiple concurrent NPI and sustaining engineering projects
  • Drive component and supplier qualification activities, including part and supplier identification, evaluation, risk assessment, qualification, and lifecycle management
  • Analyze new product designs, assemblies, and bills of material to identify opportunities to improve reliability, quality, manufacturability, cost, and long-term supply resilience
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for material, component, supplier, and manufacturing-related technical issues
  • Define, implement, and sustain permanent solutions to technical manufacturing and supplier quality problems
  • Support product lifecycle activities including component obsolescence mitigation, PCN/PDN review, alternate source qualification, material compliance support, and engineering change execution
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, continuous improvement, and cooperative engagement across functional organizations and geographic sites
  • Apply appropriate quality, Lean, and continuous improvement processes to improve team effectiveness, cycle time, first-pass success, and customer outcomes
  • Develop team capability through coaching, performance management, knowledge sharing, succession planning, and technical skill development

Qualifications
