Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor leads the development, optimization, and implementation of manufacturing technologies within the plant. This role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, improving production capabilities, and driving cost reduction initiatives. The supervisor oversees equipment reliability and facility maintenance while managing projects that introduce innovative, state-of-the-art manufacturing solutions. Through strong leadership and continuous improvement efforts, they ensure the plant operates at peak performance and remain competitive.

What You'll Do:
Manufacturing Engineering Oversight
- Lead all activities typical of a manufacturing engineer, ensuring that products are manufactured to the highest standards. This includes maintaining product/component drawings, designing/documenting production equipment, and introducing new products in collaboration with the NPD team.
Maintenance Supervision
- Oversee the maintenance of manufacturing equipment with a team of technicians.
- Directly supervise technicians including scheduling, day-to-day direction, and performance feedback
- Support the training and development of direct reports to build team capability
- Ensure that all equipment is in optimal condition to reduce downtimes and enhance operational efficiency.
Facilities Supervision
- Building maintenance
- Grounds maintenance (Lawncare and Snow Removal)
- HVAC
Project Leadership
- Support and lead cost-saving and equipment projects.
- Collaborate with external automation houses and internal teams.
- Drive process improvements, from conception to implementation, to increase efficiency and profitability.
Product Quality
- Develop and validate manufacturing processes.
- Design test methods.
- Investigate product complaints and failures to ensure consistent product quality and safety.
Documentation and Compliance
- Create and implement process and safety SOPs.
- Maintain accurate manufacturing routings and bill of materials.
Budget and Financial Support
- Support the budget for production and facilities equipment ensuring cost-effectiveness and fiscal responsibility.
Strategic Involvement
- Actively participate in team meetings, contributing to operational direction and decision-making processes.

What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3+ years of practical, hands on experience in an engineering role (i.e. Manufacturing Engineer) or related field
- Must possess a strong background in general machine design
- CAD experience required (SolidWorks preferred)
- Project Management experience required

Compensation Range: $90-110k
The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position at the time of posting. Within the range, the compensation will be determined based on education/training, skill set, experience, and other organizational needs.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing/Distribution Environment
This position operates in a manufacturing plant environment. The role routinely involves working around machinery, equipment, and moving mechanical parts. The facility may be subject to varying temperatures, loud noise levels, and airborne particles such as dust or chemical fumes, depending on the area of the plant. This role may require periods of standing, sitting, or walking throughout the workday. Occasional bending, lifting, or carrying items up to 50 pounds may be necessary.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, control, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk. Hearing abilities required for this environment include being able to clearly hear and respond to audible alarms, production equipment, forklifts, and other machinery to maintain a safe work environment. Individuals must be able to distinguish and understand verbal communication including instructions, safety warnings, and team discussions, sometimes in an environment with moderate to high background noise.
