Manufacturing Equipment Operator (Dimensional Inspection)

Position Details

• Location: Mundelein, IL
• Work Arrangement: On-site
• Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM
• Pay: $20.09/hour
• Other Compensation: $2.50/hour shift differential
• Employment Type: Full-time / Hourly
• Overtime: Occasional overtime may be required.

What You’ll Do

• Operate assigned mechanical equipment safely and productively.
• Verify product quality and dimensions using basic precision instruments.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments.
• Interpret blueprints (when applicable), work instructions, and procedures.
• Follow safety, environmental, and quality policies at all times.

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of relevant experience.
• Ability to operate machinery effectively and safely.
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools and basic math.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete required documentation accurately.
• Capability to read blueprints when applicable.

Physical Demands & Work Setting

Manufacturing floor environment working with mechanical production equipment.

• Frequent bending and stooping.
• Ability to pull objects up to 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity for handling small parts.
