From the first startup tone of a conveyor to the last QA check of the shift, you’re the steady hand keeping manufacturing moving. Our client is hiring a hands-on technician to keep production assets healthy, troubleshoot issues fast, and drive uptime in a high-velocity plant environment. If electromechanical systems, precision diagnostics, and preventive strategies are your toolkit, you’ll thrive here.

What you’ll tackle

  • Diagnose and correct issues across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on a wide range of production machines
  • Execute preventive maintenance on schedule and document all activities in a CMMS to build equipment history and insights
  • Respond rapidly to breakdowns to reduce delays and restore optimal performance
  • Install, start up, and validate new equipment and machine modifications
  • Partner with engineering and production to elevate reliability, throughput, and safety
  • Adhere to all safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout and required PPE
  • Support facility upkeep: HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and general building repairs
  • Join training and cross-functional improvement initiatives to broaden your impact

What you bring (Required)

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Solid command of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and reading schematics
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and OEM manuals
  • Hands-on experience with PLCs, VFDs, sensors, motors, and conveyor systems
  • Capable of lifting 50+ lbs., standing for extended periods, and working in varied environmental conditions
  • Willingness to work overtime and flex shifts when production demands it

Preferred qualifications

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related discipline
  • Background in plastics manufacturing or high-speed packaging operations
  • Familiarity with NFPA 70E, OSHA requirements, and 5S methodology
