    TEMP TO PERM POSITION

    Why this role matters

Accurate, timely quotes keep production schedules full and customers happy. You’ll be the engine that moves RFQs from intake to a clean initial package—so decision-makers can price, revise, and submit with confidence.

    Your impact

    • Own RFQ intake: review drawings, specs, and customer documents for completeness.
    • Organize and stage quotes for internal review to keep priorities clear and work flowing.
    • Build initial quote packages; perform precise data entry in ERP and Excel.
    • Partner with Engineering, Purchasing, Operations, Quality, and Sales to gather inputs.
    • Maintain a living tracker of quote status and a well-structured record archive.
    • Support revisions, updates, and follow-ups through submission.
    • Provide professional, timely communication to internal stakeholders on requirements and timelines.
    • Assist the Quote Team Manager with administrative and quoting activities.
    • Verify documentation accuracy and completeness before submission.

    What you’ll need to succeed

    • High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
    • Background in administration, customer service, manufacturing, or quoting is a plus.
    • Meticulous attention to detail; strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Comfort operating in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meeting deadlines.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication.
    • Fluency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Office suite; ERP experience preferred.
    • Team-oriented approach and collaborative mindset.

    Work setup

    • Environment: Office-based with regular interaction with production and warehouse areas.
    • Physical: Occasional walking, standing, and warehouse site visits.
    • Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday; flexibility for extended hours as needed.
    • Location & Travel: Onsite in Milford, CT; occasional travel for supplier visits, conferences, and inter-facility coordination.
