The Manufacturing Estimator will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:
Analyze customer drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications.
Develop manufacturing routings, cycle times, and labor estimates.
Create detailed cost models and customer quotations.
Source material and outside processing costs from supplier networks.
Serve as a technical point of contact throughout the RFQ process.
Lead and mentor junior estimating personnel.
Drive process improvements and support Lean manufacturing initiatives.
The successful applicant:
Has 5+ years of experience in CNC machining, manufacturing engineering, estimating, process engineering, or related precision manufacturing environments.
Has a strong understanding of CNC turning, milling, Swiss machining, grinding, and secondary operations.
Is proficient in blueprint reading and GD&T.
Has experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
Possesses excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
