Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Project Engineer

Description: Our Lockheed Martin Enterprise Operations team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to work across Lockheed Martin Business Areas (BAs) to understand manufacturing execution system (MES) requirements and capabilities. The successful candidate will align and harmonize common requirements and processes across BAs, generate functional specifications, and collaborate with IT developers to support the development, testing, and deployment of MES capabilities.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with stakeholders across multiple Business Areas to understand MES requirements and capabilitiesAlign and harmonize common requirements and processes across BAsTranslate business requirements and capabilities into functional specificationsCollaborate with IT developers to support the development of MES capabilitiesTest and validate MES capabilities prior to deployment into productionPartner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and adoption of MES solutionsMaintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including leadership, technical teams, and customersCommunicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholdersNote: This role is fully remote. There is no expectation or requirement to live near a LM site or be onsite on any recurring frequency. However, significant travel will be required situationally to meet program needs. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $120,100 - $208,150. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
