    Role Snapshot

    • Title: Manufacturing Finishing Specialist (Paint Booth Operations)
    • Reports to: Mechanical Supervisor
    • May receive assignments from: Crew Lead
    • Primary purpose: Set up, operate, and maintain equipment to paint mechanical products while driving continuous improvement.

    What You’ll Do

    • Prepare parts for finishing; deburr parts prior to welding; ensure surfaces meet spec.
    • Operate and maintain paint booth/equipment; perform operational and preventive maintenance.
    • Execute incidental painting as assigned and assist with light product assembly as needed.
    • Follow Bills of Material (BOMs) and processing/work instructions precisely.
    • Use material-handling equipment safely and effectively.
    • Lift and move heavy materials—up to 70 lbs.

    • Reading comprehension and documentation accuracy.
    • Ability to interpret and comply with BOMs and work instructions.
    • Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to management.
    • Able to wear a respirator and work in hot environments.
    • Safety-first mindset across all equipment and tasks.

    Environment & Physical Requirements

    • Extended standing; hot conditions at times; frequent lifting/moving up to 25 lbs.
    • Regular talking/hearing; frequent standing, walking, handling/fingering, reaching.
    • Occasional sitting, climbing/balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
    • Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
    • Heavy lifting requirement up to 70 lbs. for certain tasks.

    Schedule, Travel, and Location

    • Full-time, Monday–Friday; 40+ hours per week.
    • Occasional evenings/weekends based on demand.
    • No travel expected.

    Education & Experience

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • 1+ year of related experience preferred.

    Preferred Proficiency

    • Warehouse experience
    • Mechanical assembly skills
    • Manufacturing environment experience
