Company Overview

At Overton Industries, we craft precision components and tooling that keep the automotive, aerospace, and wider industrial world moving. Advanced technology meets expert craftsmanship in everything we build.

Role: Manufacturing Growth Architect (B2B Sales)

Location: Mooresville, IN
Job Type: Full time

A Day in the Life

You start your morning reviewing a targeted list of OEMs and tiered suppliers in your Pipedrive CRM. A quick call with engineering aligns on a custom machining concept for a prospect you met at last week’s trade show. By midday, you’re presenting how our manufacturing, machining, tooling, and production solutions can solve a customer’s throughput challenges. In the afternoon, you log notes, update your pipeline, and strategize next steps to win new accounts—while keeping an eye on market signals and competitor moves. Before you wrap, you connect with a Project Manager about expanding an existing customer’s program where there’s clear growth potential.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Source and qualify new business within target markets and industries.
  • Build and nurture relationships, digging deep to understand each customer’s manufacturing needs.
  • Showcase our capabilities—manufacturing, machining, tooling, and production solutions—to prospective clients.
  • Hit and surpass goals tied to new customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Network relentlessly at industry events, trade shows, and online communities to create deal flow.
  • Partner closely with engineering and production to shape solutions around customer requirements.
  • Maintain a strong, accurate pipeline and document activities in our CRM (Pipedrive).
  • Feed insights on market trends, competitors, and customer pain points back to product and marketing.
  • Potentially steward select existing accounts with clear upside, working alongside Project Managers who run day-to-day.

What You Bring

  • Proven wins in manufacturing, machining, tool & die, or production stamping sales.
  • A strong manufacturing network and a track record for opening new doors.
  • Polished communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Self-starter mentality—persistent, proactive, and goal-driven.
  • Technical curiosity with the ability to translate complex solutions into business value.
  • Comfort with regular travel.
  • Work arrangement: Flexibility for occasional remote work once goals are consistently achieved; otherwise, plan to be in-office when not on the road.

Benefits

  • Competitive Pay: Your experience counts—and your compensation reflects it.
  • Comprehensive Health Coverage: Medical, dental, and vision for you and your family.
  • 401(k) with Company Match: Grow your future as your career advances.
  • Generous Paid Time Off: Paid holidays and personal time for balance and recharge.
  • Career Growth & Development: Training and development to help you thrive.
