Starting Pay: $16.50-$18.75 per hour, plus newly increased shift premiums of $2.50/hour for 2nd shift and $1.50/hour for 3rd shift.

JOB PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for performing responsibilities of a pultrusion technician with moderate direction and assistance from supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Record daily production data accurately and completely in production sheets, logbooks, MACT books
• Identify material requirements on machines
• Add and thread material as needed
• Proven ability to use measuring devices such as tape measures and gauges
• Ability to understand Spec sheets
• Continually inspect process and troubleshoot with supervision
• Ability to identify scrap
• Efficiently clean machines

QUALIFICATIONS: Experience, Competencies and Education

• Completion of new employee training
• Pass new employee testing
• Proven good attendance

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF JOB: This position requires that the employee be able to perform the following physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Long periods of standing and walking while working 8-hour shifts
• Stooping, bending, kneeling
• Lifting up to 40 pounds

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position requires that the employee be able to work effectively in a work environment involving:

• Manufacturing plant with exposure to resins, glass, and chemicals
