KPEX JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary The Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruiting and onboarding in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with supervisors and leadership to attract, evaluate, and hire qualified candidates for hourly and salaried positions while ensuring a positive candidate experience and compliance with all employment laws and company policies. The HR Recruiter plays a critical role in workforce planning, reducing time-to-fill, and supporting retention through effective onboarding, training coordination, and employee engagement. This position also provides general HR support related to employee relations, performance management, and HR best practices. Essential Functions Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried roles, including supervisors, engineers, and production team members Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and workforce planning strategies Develop, post, and maintain job advertisements on job boards, company websites, social media platforms, and other recruiting channels. Screen applicants, conduct and coordinate onsite interviews with hiring managers. Manage candidate pipeline and applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate and timely updates Coordinate pre-employment processes including background checks, drug screening, and reference checks Prepare and extend job offers in alignment with company guidelines Facilitate new hire onboarding, including orientation, paperwork completion, and system setup Ensure all onboarding documentation is completed accurately (I-9, W-4, policy acknowledgments, etc.) Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies Support employee retention initiatives by analyzing turnover trends and recruiting effectiveness. Assist with training coordination and follow-up for new hires and internal promotions Maintain accurate employee records and generate reports from HRIS systems Support ISO/IATF and continuous improvement initiatives as related to HR processes Participate in HR projects, audits, and departmental initiatives Job Related Responsibilities Track and report recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, turnover, applicant flow, etc.) Coordinate interview schedules and hiring decisions with supervisors and department leaders. Administer New Hire Orientation and onboarding programs. Support employee engagement activities and recognition programs. Monitor attendance, uniforms, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities. Assist with employee relations matters, including coaching and corrective action. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information Assist with performance evaluation tracking and documentation Communicate effectively with candidates, employees, and leadership at all levels Promote a positive workplace culture through professional and timely interactions Ensure adherence to safety standards and PPE requirements within the facility Support plant initiatives, including Kaizen events, 5S activities, weekly IATF audits, and continuous improvement efforts. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent 1-3 years of recruiting or HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience recruiting in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements. Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move between office and production areas throughout the workday. Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
