Manufacturing Intern - Factory
Our Parma, Ohio branch of OSG USA, Inc. is one of the largest full-line domestic die manufacturers in the United States. We offer a wide range of products for the thread forming industry including flat, cylindrical, planetary, trimming, rack and segmented carbide dies. The company markets its products to numerous industries including automotive, die mold, aerospace, energy, heavy industry and dental.
Job Functions for a Manufacturing Intern - Factory:
- Follows all factory procedures regarding safety, production, and quality.
- . Cleans machine, tooling, and parts.
- . Cleans, sweeps, mops, and vacuum facility.
- . Demonstrate commitment to company values and show a keen sense of cooperation and willingness to work in a team environment.
- . Shadow machining cells to observe machining processes in multiple departments including Inspection and Heat Treat.
- . Support engineering activities associated with order processing and workflow coordination.
- . Assist shipping operations, including participation in the Laser Marking process.
- . Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications for a Manufacturing Intern - Factory
- . Some High School Experiences.
- Basic knowledge of computers.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Physical:
Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Compensation type: $15.00 per hour
Reports to: Plant Manager
Hours: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
