Manufacturing Lab Technician

Join Our Team as a Lab Technician on 2nd Shift!

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team in Decatur, IL. This entry-level position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, professional laboratory environment. Position Details:

• Hours: 2nd shift, 3pm-11pm
• Pay Rate: $21.42/hour
• Location: Decatur, IL

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze process and finished product samples using instrumental and wet chemistry procedures.
• Record results using computerized data systems.
• Complete training on one of the four analytical aisles in the QC laboratory.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and perform safety audits and engagements regularly.
• Demonstrate proficiency in math and computer skills to perform lab testing and data recording.
• Adhere to cGMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by quality department management.

Qualifications:

• High school level math skills.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Lab experience is a plus, but not required.
• Completion of a college science lab is preferred, though experience in a fast-paced field will also be considered.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to a 24/7/365 work schedule.
