    Description

    Position Summary

    As a Manufacturing Lead - POC (Sublimation Cloth), you play a crucial role as a lead figure within the department, bridging communication between Supervisors, upper management, and production associates. Operating in a fast-paced production environment, you will help coordinate daily workflow, ensure product quality, meet customer specifications, and achieve department productivity goals.

    In addition to providing hands-on direction to associates, you will train and support new team members, monitor production flow, troubleshoot minor production issues, and occasionally step in for Assistant Supervisors and Supervisors as needed.

    1st Shift Between: 6:30 AM-3:00 PM (peak schedule varies)

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Lead daily workflow within the Sublimation Cloth department to ensure production goals, quality standards, and customer expectations are consistently met.
    • Train, coach, and support team members on department processes, equipment operation, quality standards, and safety procedures.
    • Prepare, organize, and distribute materials to ensure production lines remain supplied and operating efficiently.
    • Operate and learn department-specific sublimation printers, heat press equipment, and other production machinery.
    • Monitor print quality, color consistency, image placement, and finished products to ensure accuracy and minimize waste.
    • Troubleshoot minor equipment and production issues, escalating concerns to leadership when necessary.
    • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment while ensuring equipment and workstations are production-ready.
    • Communicate workflow updates, production priorities, and quality concerns with Supervisors and other departments.
    • Assist with inventory control, material movement, and department organization as needed.
    • Adapt to changing production priorities while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
    • Support department performance by promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
