A Manufacturing Machining Engineer in the Production Engineering team will be a part of operating, sustaining, and improving some of the most automated manufacturing equipment in the world. The best candidate for the position specializes in machining operations and can lead, develop, optimize and implement advanced manufacturing processes.
Sustain 24 by 7 production operations through responding to and resolving breakdowns quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime, working with the support of Maintenance team
Active leader of a cross functional teams while taking on improvement projects to assist in improving the factory.Diagnoses equipment failures. finds root cause and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Lead equipment upgrades with a focus on serviceability, reliability, and process capability
Provide hands-on support to Engineering and Maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve extended downtime situations for the CNC lines
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering, or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, with focus on machining processes of Turning
Strong knowledge of machining parameters, tooling selection and fixture design
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, Mastercam or similar)
Knowledge of GD&T, inspection methods and metrology equipment
Plan and execute preventative and corrective maintenance in CNC Equipment
Experience with DMG Mori (NZX-S2500-ST), Mitsubishi and Fanuc controllers for servocontrol equipment is a plus
Aptitude to learn new skillsets
