Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic II Location: Clackamas, Oregon Pay Rate: $34.97 – $36.97 per hour
Position Overview A large production organization seeks a Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic for a 90-day onsite contract in Clackamas, Oregon. This role is responsible for keeping production equipment running through preventive maintenance, rapid troubleshooting, and quality repair work.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment
Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical faults quickly and accurately
Repair and replace worn or failed components to restore equipment to spec
Document maintenance activities and parts usage in the CMMS
Communicate equipment status and safety concerns to production and engineering teams
Respond to breakdown calls and minimize production downtime
Maintain clean and organized maintenance work areas
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Competency across mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems
Ability to read mechanical drawings and maintenance manuals
Lockout/tagout certification and electrical safety awareness
Ability to work onsite full-time in Clackamas, OR
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with food, beverage, or consumer goods manufacturing equipment
Welding or fabrication skills
CMMS experience (SAP PM, Maximo, or similar)
