Step into a fast-paced insulated metal panel manufacturing environment where your mechanical know-how keeps production safe, steady, and efficient. As our Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic, you’ll be the go-to pro for getting equipment back online and staying ahead of issues with solid preventive maintenance.
A Day in the Life
The shift kicks off with a quick scan of PM schedules. You inspect conveyors, listen for bearing chatter, and confirm gearbox temperatures. When a pneumatic cylinder hesitates, you zero in on the cause—seals, valves, or air supply—and resolve it. A broken guard bracket? You weld a light carbon-steel replacement and align the assembly before handing the line back to operations. Throughout, you follow plant safety procedures and PPE requirements without compromise.
Core Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair production systems including conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Perform welding and light fabrication on carbon steel to support reliable operation.
Execute preventive maintenance and respond rapidly to equipment breakdowns.
Replace worn components, align machinery, and keep continuous production on track.
Adhere to all safety protocols and required PPE at all times.
What You Bring
Hands-on industrial or mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
Proven mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
Practical experience with welding, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and gearboxes.
Manufacturing background is required; experience in insulated panel production (or closely related industrial manufacturing) is a plus.
