As our Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic, you’ll be the go-to pro for getting equipment back online and staying ahead of issues with solid preventive maintenance.

A Day in the Life

The shift kicks off with a quick scan of PM schedules. You inspect conveyors, listen for bearing chatter, and confirm gearbox temperatures. When a pneumatic cylinder hesitates, you zero in on the cause—seals, valves, or air supply—and resolve it. A broken guard bracket? You weld a light carbon-steel replacement and align the assembly before handing the line back to operations. Throughout, you follow plant safety procedures and PPE requirements without compromise.

Core Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair production systems including conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Perform welding and light fabrication on carbon steel to support reliable operation.
• Execute preventive maintenance and respond rapidly to equipment breakdowns.
• Replace worn components, align machinery, and keep continuous production on track.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and required PPE at all times.

What You Bring

• Hands-on industrial or mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Practical experience with welding, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and gearboxes.
• Manufacturing background is required; experience in insulated panel production (or closely related industrial manufacturing) is a plus.
