A day in the life

You’re the hub for maintenance execution. Your morning kicks off by reviewing the production plan and aligning preventive, predictive, and project work to minimize downtime. You refine PM tasks in Megamation, confirm contractor schedules, and queue parts and materials so that every tech on shift has what they need. Midday, you run a cross-functional huddle with Operations, Technical, and Maintenance teams, locking priorities and safety needs for the week and the upcoming weekend/downtime windows. By afternoon, you’ve issued purchase requests, firmed up estimates for labor, and adjusted plans as new information rolls in. When major shutdowns approach, you orchestrate the plan end-to-end—communications, labor sequencing, materials, and safety—so the restart is seamless.

What you’ll own

• Serve as the focal point for maintenance communications and planning across assigned lab areas.
• Coordinate routine maintenance and major shutdown events to reduce equipment downtime and maximize performance.
• Organize work materials, draft clear work instructions, and define safety requirements for each task.
• Identify and procure parts/materials for planned and PM work orders; write purchase requests for repairs, replacements, and contracted services.
• Prioritize planned, preventive, predictive, and project work in alignment with production schedules and asset health.
• Estimate labor hours for all planned and preventive maintenance activities.
• Lead weekly planning meetings with Operations, Technical, and Maintenance stakeholders.
• Ensure weekend and downtime activities are fully coordinated ahead of execution.
• Create, add, and modify PMs within the Megamation CMMS to keep programs current.
• Schedule external contractors for preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Tackle special projects and additional responsibilities as needs evolve.

What you bring

• Associate’s degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 3+ years in highly automated, lean/continuous flow manufacturing.
• Demonstrated proficiency with a CMMS (Megamation experience a plus).
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Confident, independent decision-making and strong organizational skills.
• Proactive problem-solver who can lead resolution of lab equipment issues.
• Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable running cross-functional meetings.
• Works independently with minimal supervision; flexible with hours and overtime as needed.
• Capable of seated, walking, or standing work for up to 10 hours.

Preferred

• Hands-on knowledge of Megamation CMMS planning and inventory modules.
