Purpose of Role
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the maintenance team to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of equipment, machinery, and facilities. This role coordinates maintenance activities, manages personnel, and drives continuous improvement in equipment performance and uptime. This person reports to Maintenance Engineering Manager.

Professional Skills, Qualifications, and Competencies
Education and Experience | High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred. 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred. |
Geographic Location | Richmond, VA |
Language Skills | Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work cross-functionally with other departments. |
Ability to Reason | Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Experience with troubleshooting and repair of industrial equipment |
Computer Skills | Knowledge and experience with: Manufacturing software/ERP, MS Office applications, including Excel and Word. |
Math Skills | Ability to apply basic to intermediate mathematical concepts. Working knowledge of measurements, tolerances, and conversions (standard and metric systems) |
Certificates/Licenses | Valid driver's license required OSHA 10/30 preferred Maintenance-related certifications (electrical, mechanical, PLC) a plus |
Other | Ability to react with urgency to achieve objectives and deadlines despite obstacles and time pressures. |
