About the role:

Our Maintenance Technician - Level 3's are very valuable to us here at Lexington because they are imperative to our machines running and creating quality products for our customers. The hours are Monday - Friday from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. For this high-level tech position, the pay starts at $34 and goes up to $40, depending on experience and education. Maintenance Tech 3's are our highest-level maintenance professional, who performs the most complicated and in-depth Root Cause analysis troubleshooting and repairs. They also oversee Tech I and II Maintenance personnel. A Tech 3 will handle electrical and mechanical issues, which may require dismantling the machine, cleaning, adjusting/repairing/replacing defective parts, and testing the machine to ensure it is running properly. They should also be able to troubleshoot 24VAC/DC, 110, 208, and 480v 1ph and 3ph circuits, and be someone who has previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Job Requirements:

  • 2-year technical degree, or at least 7 years of previous relatable manufacturing technician experience, or combination of both. 
  • Requires mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, machining, welding, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Ability to perform basic programming for CNC’s, programs with ladder logic and relay logic; operates PLCs, and associated inputs/outputs; operates VFDs.
  • Ensures proper operation of HMI systems; identifies and troubleshoots issues pertaining to the HMI systems.
  • Ability to set up VFD and troubleshoot electrical control and wiring problems.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as maintenance instructions, manuals, prints, mechanical blueprints, and electrical/pneumatic schematics.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office software.
  • Must be able to stand for 8-12 hours. (Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and stretching)

  • Must be able to withstand repetitive movements.

  • Must be able to lift 40lbs sporadically unassisted.
