Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

Bemana is assisting our client in finding a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join their team at their facility in St. Petersburg, FL. Our client is a dynamic, engineering-driven company whose goal is to design and produce superior products that help customers solve their needs for Packaging, Insulation and Componentry.

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll perform work utilizing advanced and specialized maintenance and mechanical skills to keep machines, equipment and the building in repair.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform routine PMs to ensure manufacturing machines run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently.
• Change molds according to production schedules and bring machines back to operations readiness.
• Inspect, operate, or test machinery or manufacturing equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, from blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor in directing of the department to ensure all plant needs are met which may include the processing of weekly and daily work orders and maintenance schedules.
• Assemble, install, or repair manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Repair or replace defective manufacturing equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.

Requirements:

• ~5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of General Maintenance.
• Expert knowledge in electrical systems.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing Principals & Practices.
• Expert Knowledge of high & low pressure fluid systems.
