The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician  is responsible for setting up and maintaining equipment. This role requires hands-on experience with molds, machine setup, and material handling. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.


Key Responsibilities
·         Set up production machines used in aluminum container forming.
·         Install, align, and change molds according to production requirements 
·         Adjust machine settings to ensure proper forming, cutting, and output quality 
·         Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor mechanical repairs 
·         Perform routine inspections to ensure machines are operating efficiently 
·         Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and food safety standards 
·         Safely operate a forklift to move raw materials and finished goods 
·         Maintain accurate production and quality records 
·         Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and lockout/tagout protocols 
·         Keep work area clean and organized 


Qualifications
·         High school diploma or GED required 
·         2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment 
·         Required: Machine setup and operation experience 
·         Valid forklift certification  
·         Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills 
·         Ability to read and interpret work instructions and machine settings 
·         Attention to detail and commitment to quality 


Physical Requirements


·         Ability to stand for long periods 
·         Ability to lift up to 50 lbs 
·         Comfortable working around heavy machinery in a fast-paced environment 
·         Flexibility to work overtime or different shifts as needed 


Work Environment
·         Manufacturing plant setting with moving machinery 
·         Moderate noise levels 
·         Requires adherence to safety rules and food-grade hygiene standards
