Local plastics manufacturer recently expanded operations and is hiring for a 1st shift Manufacturing Manager role

The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for overseeing operations including managing, planning, directing, and coordinating the work activities and resources necessary for extrusion manufacturing, maintenance, and quality

Company has been in business for 38 years and in process of doubling in size and is looking for a talented manager to oversee the printing department.

They are very employee centric organization that focuses on the employees successes and big believers in continuous improvement and upper ward mobility

Printing experience or lean exp is strongly preferred

Local candidates only

Sponsorship and visa transfers are not available

Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise and manage 5 supervisors, and 70 employees across several departments and 3 shifts in the printing department
• Strategic involvement with leading continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, and similar principles
• Establish a culture of engagement and set the strategic direction for the team.
• Monitor, exceed, and maintain production standards for efficiencies, material waste and quality.
