Manufacturing Manager | Die Cutting/Converting

My client is hiring for an experienced Converting Manager to lead production operations in a fast-paced folding carton manufacturing environment. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing converting and finishing operations, including die-cutting, windowing, folder-gluing, and packaging. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with proven leadership skills to drive safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement.

Description

• Lead, coach, and develop production teams across converting operations
• Manage scheduling, staffing, and daily workflow to meet production targets
• Ability to work shift hours: 10:00AM - 6:00PM
• Ensure all products meet customer specifications and quality standards
• Optimize machine performance, reduce waste, and improve efficiency
• Troubleshoot equipment, material, and production issues
• Coordinate with printing, shipping, and planning teams to ensure on-time delivery
• Maintain a safe, organized workplace and reinforce safety best practices
• Monitor production metrics, conduct quality audits, and support continuous improvement initiatives

Profile

• 5+ years of leadership experience within folding carton, paperboard packaging, or a related converting environment
• Strong knowledge of die-cutting, folder-gluing, windowing, and finishing operations
• Experience with equipment such as Bobst die cutters, folder-gluers, or similar converting machinery
• Proven ability to lead teams, improve performance, and build a positive culture
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
• Commitment to quality, safety, and operational excellence

Job Offer

• Base salary $100,000 - $125,000 depending on experience
• 3 weeks PTO
• 1 week sick time
