Position Title: Manufacturing Associate - II
Position Location (fully onsite, hybrid, fully remote): Fully onsite Austin TX
Working Hours (including time zone): 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM, Compressed Shift
Days of the Week (hrs. per week): Sunday-Tuesday (34.5 hours) and Sunday-Wednesday 46 hours), 3-4 days per week alternating, Days 1.
Overtime: Standard compressed shift OT, other OT occasionally required.

Describe the function of your team and how it impacts on a larger scale: The Physical Analysis Labs in Austin play a critical role in ensuring manufacturing excellence by maintaining quality control over a diverse range of chemicals, monitoring contamination on wafers and in the ambient environment, and supporting failure investigations to determine root cause.

Reason for the Opening: The analytical lab had a permanent employee resign. The lab is converting an existing contractor to fill the open position and backfilling the contingent labor opening.
Job Description: The analytical lab technician is responsible for operating and using a wide range of analytical instruments and methods such as ICP-MS, ion chromatography, liquid chromatography, CVS, titrations, moisture analysis. These measurements allow the engineering teams to asses contamination levels on wafers and in processes, assist in troubleshooting, and keep customer quality complaints to a minimum.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
• Prepare samples, standards, reagents, and calibration curves in established SOP's.
• Perform routine chemical/trace metal analysis in an orderly and clean manor.
• Operate and maintain analytical instruments to ensure accurate and reliable results.
• Document and review analytical data ensuring compliance with quality assurance and quality control standards.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety, and organization.

Interview Process: 2 round ITV process - 1st round phone ITV with HM , 2nd round in person ITV with HM, the lab engineer and the section Manager.
