- Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, and reorder points; identify opportunities to reduce excess and obsolete stock.
- Generate and report key planning metrics (on-time delivery, inventory turns, days of supply, fill rate) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in new product introductions (NPI) to develop initial material plans and identify potential supply constraints.
- Support demand planning activities by reviewing forecasts, consumption data, and order trends to adjust material requirements.
- Resolve supply chain disruptions through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and communication with stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate master data in SAP (part numbers, lead times, BOMs) and support process documentation and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of material planning or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience using SAP for material requirements planning (MM/PP modules) or equivalent ERP systems; hands-on MRP execution and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong understanding of MRP planning logic, inventory optimization, procurement processes, and production scheduling.
