Job Title: Materials Clerk
Location: Tulsa, OK
Duration: 3 months contract
Shift: 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday-Friday.
Pay Rate: $20 an hour. w2

Job Description

If you are a Warehouse or Shipping professional looking for an opportunity to grow, we have an exciting opportunity for you in our shipping department. This position performs necessary transactions to ensure that products are shipped to the customers in a timely and accurate manner. Duties include packing and loading shipments as required while working alongside our Material Handlers and other production teams for shipping needs.

Responsibilities

• Process shipments based on routing guides.
• Operate various packaging tools, such as nail guns and packing foam machines to box, crate, and secure shipments.
• Work alongside the Quality department to ensure that Quality guidelines are being met for all outgoing packages.
• Prepare bill of lading, packing list, commercial invoice, and shipping labels for domestic and international orders using shipping software.
• Record needed information such as quantity, weight, and dimensions on pick slips for outgoing packages.
• Work cohesively with production teams to ensure timely shipments for product lines.

Must Haves

• Forklift certification and experience
• Shipping & receiving or warehouse experience
• Packing experience in a manufacturing environment
• Computer/PC skills and shipping software knowledge
• Experience with shipping documents, material handling, and loading shipments
