They are looking to fill a Manufacturing Operations Manager in their Thurmont, Maryland location.

The Manufacturing Operations Manager is responsible for leading and directing Manufacturing strategies to support achievement of the company's brand promise and focus on vertical integration. This position will ensure alignment of support to Homebuilding Operations related to capacity planning, logistics, and quality assurance. The incumbent will partner with Homebuilding Operations, Architectural Services, IT, Finance, and senior Manufacturing leadership to ensure business objectives are achieved. This position will lead a team responsible for leading and influencing best practices across all Manufacturing plants.

This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies to manage plant capacity, ensuring manufacturing operations align with weekly production demands and future growth. It involves partnering with leadership to track key performance metrics across scheduling, logistics, and quality, while overseeing a cost-effective logistics strategy that supports delivery needs and minimizes risk. The position also leads quality improvement initiatives, addresses escalated issues, and drives root cause analysis across plants. Additionally, the role focuses on identifying process and technology improvements, supporting new plant start-ups, leading team development, and managing special projects to enhance overall operational performance and maintain a competitive advantage.

This is a Leader of Leaders role with someone who has proven track record of continuous improvement. They need someone who has strong desire to increase productivity and efficiency at this location.

Compensation is 130 - 160k plus Bonus that will be at minimal 25% but could be close to 50% depending on how well organization does. They provide awesome benefits, 401k and profit sharing. This is a day shift role. Job 59021
