Manufacturing Operations Supervisor

Company: Aegis Worldwide

Compensation: $65,000 – $80,000

Schedule: 2nd or 3rd shift

A day in this role

When your shift begins, you take the handoff from the previous leader and set the tone for safety, quality, and throughput. You align your production operators and team leads on priorities, confirm staffing coverage, and position people and resources where they’ll have the greatest impact. As the work unfolds, you keep a close eye on KPIs for the day—and how they ladder up to weekly and monthly targets—making proactive adjustments to stay on plan.

Operational challenges pop up; you partner with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to resolve them quickly and permanently, feeding wins back into continuous improvement. Along the way, you ensure timekeeping records are accurate, approve PTO in accordance with policy, arrange coverage for absences, and coach team members to uphold standards. When performance or conduct issues arise, you address them promptly and fairly through corrective action and, when necessary, formal discipline.

What you will do

  • Lead and develop a team of production operators and team leads with an unwavering focus on safety, efficiency, and quality.
  • Own daily, weekly, and monthly production KPIs; remove roadblocks, rebalance labor, and adjust resources to hit targets.
  • Assign work, coordinate staffing, and set line priorities to maximize productivity and operational performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering) to troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitor attendance, approve PTO requests, and arrange coverage for planned and unplanned absences.
  • Review and verify timekeeping records to ensure accuracy and policy compliance.
  • Provide coaching and implement corrective actions; manage disciplinary processes when required.

What you bring

  • 4+ years leading production teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience managing PTO requests, timesheets/timekeeping, and disciplinary procedures.
