A Day in the Life

You arrive before the line starts humming. You’re walking the floor, saying hello by name, scanning work cells, and prioritizing safety. You sequence work, allocate talent, and remove roadblocks so production and distribution move in lockstep. You dive into yesterday’s KPIs, align on today’s targets, and coach your team through improvement opportunities. By shift’s end, you’ve advanced quality, throughput, and morale—safely.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan, coordinate, and assign daily work across a manufacturing or distribution department to hit safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
  • Implement and uphold department policies, standard work, and procedures.
  • Champion continuous improvement—recommend and drive enhancements to methods, equipment, materials flow, staffing, and working conditions.
  • Model safe behaviors and enforce EHS requirements; ensure correct use of PPE.
  • Monitor operational metrics and drive corrective action to sustain performance.
  • Coach, develop, and recognize team members; foster accountability and teamwork.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution center environment (required)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Associate degree in Supervisory Management or related field (preferred)
  • Prior people-leadership/supervisory experience (preferred)
  • Familiarity with manufacturing/warehouse equipment and departmental processes

Work Environment

Active industrial manufacturing and distribution center with moderate to high noise, temperature variation, and material handling equipment in operation. Extended standing/walking on concrete; PPE such as safety glasses and steel-toed boots required. Fast-paced, time- and safety-sensitive operations; schedules may vary to support production and distribution needs.

Schedule & Pay

  • Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00pm–4:30am
  • Compensation: $23.00–$25.00 per hour DOE
