Step into the Day Shift as Our Manufacturing Operations Team Lead
Picture your morning on the production floor. The day begins with a quick huddle to align the team, confirm priorities, and ensure resources are set. You’ll walk the line, check equipment status, and clear the path for a smooth first shift. Throughout the day, you’ll balance schedules, coach teammates, and collaborate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain to keep output moving on time and on spec.
What you’ll own
Oversee daily production operations during the 1st shift to keep workflow efficient and goals on track.
Coordinate and supervise the production team, ensuring adherence to company policies, safety protocols, and standard work.
Monitor production schedules, adjust priorities, and allocate people and materials to meet deadlines.
Spot operational issues early and implement corrective actions to maintain steady production.
Partner closely with maintenance, quality control, and supply chain to optimize throughput and minimize downtime.
Conduct routine equipment and machinery checks; report and follow up on maintenance needs.
Train, coach, and mentor team members to elevate skills, engagement, and performance.
Maintain accurate records of output metrics, attendance, and shift performance for reporting.
Champion a safe workplace by enforcing health and safety regulations and promoting safe behaviors.
What you bring
Proven leadership with the ability to guide, motivate, and hold a production team accountable.
Clear, confident communicator able to coordinate across departments and with frontline staff.
Comfort with manufacturing tools, equipment, and common production software.
Strong problem-solver who can quickly assess issues and implement practical solutions.
Working knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and resource management basics.
Familiarity with safety standards and best practices on the shop floor.
Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
General understanding of manufacturing processes and operational workflows.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in manufacturing or production management is a plus.
Schedule: Lead and coordinate the 1st shift/day shift production team.
