    Lead Day-to-Day Manufacturing in Poynette, WI

    At our facility in Poynette, WI 53955, you’ll guide the production floor to deliver safe, high-quality output on schedule. As the Manufacturing Operations Team Lead, you set the pace, remove roadblocks, and build a positive, high-performing team culture.

    A day in the role

    You’ll arrive ready to coordinate people, processes, and priorities. You’ll keep work flowing smoothly, uphold standards, and support each team member’s success—while keeping an eye on data to drive continuous improvement.

    What you’ll do

    • Direct daily production flow so jobs, materials, and people align for efficient, high-quality output.
    • Coach, mentor, and develop production staff, reinforcing a culture grounded in safety and teamwork.
    • Track key production indicators and turn insights into action to boost productivity and minimize waste.
    • Own safety practices on the floor, including routine audits and adherence to company policies and regulations.
    • Partner with Quality and Maintenance to troubleshoot issues and keep operations on track.
    • Compile clear, timely production reports with performance trends and recommendations for leadership.
    • Onboard and train new team members on processes, equipment fundamentals, and safety protocols.

    What you bring

    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in manufacturing or a related discipline is a plus.
    • Proven leadership experience as a production supervisor (or similar) within a manufacturing setting.
    • A track record of motivating diverse teams and holding high standards.
    • Strong problem-solving mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and safety standards.
    • Clear, professional communication—both written and verbal.
    • Comfort with production management software and Microsoft Office tools.
