Manufacturing Operations Technician — Thermoplastics & Assembly

In this Manufacturing Operations Technician role, you’ll help transform raw thermoplastics and components into finished fans and systems that keep critical operations running cleanly and safely.

What a day looks like

You’ll rotate between material handling, shipping/receiving activities, and hands-on assembly. You’ll stage raw materials (including thermoplastics), operate and adjust production equipment, use hand tools to build subassemblies, and help assemble fans and related system components. Along the way, you’ll record measurements and pass/fail results, log production data (scrap, downtime, deviations), and participate in daily productivity huddles.

How you’ll contribute

• Keep a clean, efficient workspace by applying 5S principles.
• Set up tools and machines for scheduled production runs and assembly tasks.
• Operate, monitor, and fine-tune equipment to achieve output and quality targets.
• Inspect parts and finished goods, documenting measurements and decision criteria.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and perform basic preventive maintenance.
• Follow safety, quality, and environmental standards at every step.
• Complete required data entry and paperwork; support other duties as assigned.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly preferred.
• Comfort with hand tools and measurement devices; solid mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and proper PPE use.
