Penmac Staffing is hiring
for a well-established microbiology manufacturing facility in Lenexa, KS. This role offers multiple shift options, competitive pay based on shift, overtime opportunities, and hands-on work supporting the production of scientific and medical products.
Pay & SchedulePay ranges from $18.00 to $19.55 per hour, depending on the assigned shift.
Available schedules include:
- Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
- Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
- Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Monday–Thursday, 4:15 PM–2:45 AM
- Saturday & Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
Overtime may be available based on production needs.
Manufacturing Operator Responsibilities- Operate production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor product quality and perform visual inspections
- Complete production documentation and quality checks
- Make basic machine adjustments and report equipment issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety, quality, sanitation, and manufacturing procedures
Work EnvironmentThis facility produces microbiological products used in laboratory and testing environments. Candidates should be comfortable with:
- Occasional odors related to biological production processes
- Handling or working near animal-derived materials, including sheep’s blood
- Working in a highly regulated, sanitation-focused manufacturing environment
Facility tours are available before starting so candidates can become familiar with the work environment.
Manufacturing Operator Requirements- High school diploma or GED
- Basic math skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 200 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to distinguish colors for quality-control purposes
- Steel-toed or composite-toed footwear
- Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures
