Position Summary
The Manufacturing Operator is responsible for performing a variety of manufacturing tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures across multiple departments. Operators will receive training in multiple production areas, including visual inspection, laser trimming, solder dipping, electrical testing, and other manufacturing processes. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and a commitment to workplace safety.
Essential Functions

  • Handle small parts and wafers using tweezers and other precision tools.

  • Perform visual inspections of chip resistors and wafers using high-powered microscopes.

  • Complete assigned tasks as directed by Manufacturing Managers and Supervisors.

  • Follow established procedures, work instructions, and production travelers.

  • Report defective materials, equipment issues, or questionable conditions to management.

  • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including proper handling of hazardous chemicals when required.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment through routine cleaning and good housekeeping practices.

  • Support production goals while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Basic computer proficiency.

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment.

  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with precision equipment.

  • Experience handling chemicals in a manufacturing setting.

  • Visual inspection experience using microscopes or similar equipment.

  • Previous experience working in an ISO 9000-certified manufacturing environment.

Working Conditions

  • Manufacturing and production environment.

  • Use of high-powered microscopes and precision handling tools.

  • Exposure to chemicals and manufacturing processes, with appropriate safety measures and training provided.

  • Required use of laboratory coats and other personal protective equipment (PPE) as applicable.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to handle small components and perform detailed work using fine motor skills.

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

  • Visual acuity sufficient to inspect small components using microscopes and other inspection equipment.

  • Ability to maintain focus and concentration on repetitive tasks while meeting quality standards.




Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
