Summary:
- Location: Parsippany, NJ

- Working Hours: 2:00pm-10:00pm
Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment including forklift, pallet jack, and other power tools within a warehouse environment.
- Assist in the handling of materials from receiving area to designated bin locations.
- Facilitate outbound shipments using proper packing methods and third-party delivery services.
- Allocate product to appropriate rack, shelf, or bin location according to size, type, brand, or product code.
- Assist with execution of weekly cycle counts to ensure inventory integrity.
- Maneuver through computer systems to perform specified duties.
- Record shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability.
- Receive and unpack materials and supplies.
- Report damages and discrepancies to request reimbursement or re-shipment.
- Possibly handle hazardous materials and unpack/examine incoming shipments.
- Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
- Post weights and shipping charges and affix postage.
- Mark materials with identifying information.
- Create bar codes for documents and follow document preparation procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Six months of experience with material handling is required.
- This role requires use of technical data subject to U.S. Government export restrictions and is only for U.S. Persons (U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and protected individuals).
- Physical activity required including bending, reaching, lifting, and prolonged periods of sitting or standing. May lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work overtime including occasional weekend shifts.
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience operating power tool equipment including but not limited to cherry picker, reach truck, pallet jack, etc.
- Working knowledge of scanning equipment, internal database tracking system, dollies, and carts.
- Demonstrates positive attitude, strong work ethic, and self-motivation.
- Ability to follow written instructions and take verbal instructions for multiple assembly tasks in a manufacturing shop environment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with other staff members.
- Able to work with computerized shop floor tools.
- Excellent organizational skills.
