Manufacturing Operator Slide Assembly
Location: Rochester, NY 14626
Schedule: Fireman's Rotation
- Two 12-hour day shifts: 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
- Followed by two 12-hour night shifts: 6:00 PM 6:00 AM
Overview
You will operate manufacturing equipment, perform quality inspections, complete production documentation, and help maintain a safe, efficient, and organized work environment while following established manufacturing procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment and production machinery.
- Perform visual inspections and use inspection tools to ensure product quality.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
- Monitor equipment performance and report issues to Maintenance or Supervisors.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Participate in shift handoffs and communicate production updates effectively.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing experience.
- Ability to perform basic machine adjustments.
- Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment (GMP, SOPs, quality systems, or similar).
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, and data entry.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, dependable, and safety-focused with a positive attitude.
Preferred
- SAP experience.
- Lean Manufacturing experience.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
- Flexibility to work the assigned shift schedule and overtime as needed.
