Our Bridgman, MI team is looking for a Manufacturing Paint Specialist who takes pride in exacting finishes and dependable performance. Your work protects, beautifies, and elevates every part that leaves our floor.

How you’ll contribute

From the first wipe-down to the final inspection, you’ll manage the complete finishing process. You’ll interpret specs, prepare surfaces meticulously, blend coatings to the right formula, and apply them using the best method for the job—spray, brush, or roller. With each pass, you’ll pursue consistency, accuracy, and safety, coordinating with teammates and keeping equipment and workspaces in prime condition.

Primary responsibilities

• Clean, sand, and mask to create the ideal surface profile.
• Mix and match paints/coatings according to specification and appearance targets.
• Apply coatings using spray, brush, and roller with precise technique.
• Inspect finishes for uniformity and quality; adjust or rework as needed.
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and well-organized work area.
• Partner with peers to meet or beat production deadlines.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure optimal application.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Experience as an industrial painter or in a comparable coatings role.
• Deep familiarity with coating tools, techniques, and safety procedures.
• Confidence reading and applying technical documents and specifications.
• Uncompromising attention to detail and quality standards.
• Clear communication skills and collaborative mindset.
• Physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials when required.
• Training in painting or coatings is considered a plus.
