Job Title: Manufacturing Parts Painter - 1st Shift (6:00am - 2:30pm - Monday - Friday) 
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour (Based upon relevant experience)

Position Overview: The Manufacturing Parts Painter is responsible for preparing, painting, powder coating, and finishing manufactured components and assemblies according to company quality standards and customer specifications. This position requires strong attention to detail, consistency in finishing work, and the flexibility to assist with light assembly and other production duties as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of working efficiently in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
Painting & Finishing
  • Prepare parts and components for painting and powder coating by cleaning, sanding, masking, and inspecting surfaces.
  • Apply paint coatings using spray equipment while maintaining proper coverage, finish quality, and consistency.
  • Perform powder coating operations on manufactured parts according to production specifications.
  • Touch up painted or coated parts by hand to ensure a clean, uniform final appearance.
  • Inspect completed parts for defects, runs, uneven coverage, or other quality concerns before release to production or shipping.
  • Maintain paint booths, spray guns, powder coating equipment, and work areas in clean and safe operating condition.
Manufacturing & Assembly Support
  • Assist with light assembly work and general production tasks as needed.
  • Handle, move, and stage parts throughout the painting and finishing process.
  • Support packaging and preparation of completed products for shipment or further assembly.
  • Work closely with production and assembly teams to meet manufacturing schedules and quality expectations.
Quality & Safety
  • Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental guidelines for paint and powder coating operations.
  • Ensure all finished products meet customer specifications and internal quality standards.
  • Identify and report equipment issues, material shortages, or process concerns to supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate and organized work practices in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in industrial painting, powder coating, or manufacturing finishing processes preferred.
  • Experience using spray painting equipment and hand-finishing techniques preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality standards.
  • Ability to follow work instructions, production schedules, and safety guidelines.
  • Willingness to assist with assembly and other manufacturing responsibilities as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to lift and move parts and materials on a regular basis.
  • Requires full use of hands, arms, vision, and hearing to safely perform painting and production tasks.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to paint materials, powder coating equipment, fumes, heat, and industrial noise.
