Chipton-Ross is seeking a Manufacturing Planner 2 for a contract opportunity in Huntsville, AL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

Ability to obtain security clearance is required for this position.

3+ YearsExperience in manufacturing planning & production support

Experience in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills

Experience reading, interpreting, and enforcing standardized manufacturing processes, work instructions, and engineering drawing and process procedures

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration. Assists with development and integration of suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements. Assists in reviewing supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met. Identifies tooling requirements and initiates tooling orders based on manufacturing and engineering requirements. Assists in tooling dispositions. Investigates and resolves manufacturing related issues of limited scope. Assists with producibility assessments for part or product designs. Assists in providing input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules. Develops work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments. Assists in the review, maintenance and monitoring of internal documents. Works under general supervision.

Client is currently looking for an Associate-Level Manufacturing Planner to join the Patriot Advanced Capability 3 (PAC3) team located in Huntsville, Alabama. This unique position is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to support the production rate increase and advanced technology upgrade activities. This role will be involved in production support activities as well as continuous development projects improving manufacturing.

Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes and planning.

Collaborate with the manufacturing engineering team to review manufacturing build flows for planning producibility.

Create and maintain manufacturing work instructions.

Identify and resolve manufacturing issues to improve product quality and production efficiency.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enhance overall manufacturing performance.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

STEM focused Associates degree.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Competent in Model-Based Design.

Competent in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.

Competent in MESci or similar Manufacturing system.

Competent in Material Resource Planning (MRP) Systems (eg. CompassContract).

Experience in CAD software suites.

Experience in Windchill or similar engineering management databases.

Experience with Siemens Teamcenter.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Accredited AA degree in related discipline and typically 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORK HOURS

Full-Time/First Shift

6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
