Manufacturing Planner – Full-TimeEl Segundo, CAOverview:Responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and planning step-by-step manufacturing instructions to support product realization and contract requirements.Key Responsibilities:Analyze and interpret blueprints, specifications, manufacturing parameters, and documentation (drawings, sketches, manuals)Develop detailed manufacturing planning and process instruction sheetsCoordinate with:Programming Manager (machining sequence, fixturing)Engineering Technician (sketches, plating allowances)Quality Manager (inspection tools/equipment)Assembly Department (tooling requirements)Review and approve vendor data to ensure manufacturing requirements are metCommunicate with customers to resolve discrepancies in drawings, models, or purchase ordersCollaborate with Manufacturing Manager, planners, production, inspectors, and programmers to resolve process issuesReview, interpret, and implement engineering changesQualifications:Strong knowledge of machine shop equipment: mills, lathes, grinders, saws, CMM, deburring equipment, measuring tools, optical comparator, profilometerAbility to read/write English and communicate effectively (written & verbal)Team-oriented, professional, and non-confrontationalStrong understanding of work instructions, blueprints, GD&T, drawings, and specificationsComputer literate (Microsoft preferred)Adheres to company policiesEducation & Experience:10–15 years related experience or equivalent combination of education/trainingHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredKPG123
