Title: Manufacturing Planner -Electrical/Electronics
Location: San Antonio, TX
Salary Range: $50-55/hr on w2
Contract: 6+ months, possible extension
Introduction
Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Planner specializing in Electrical/Electronics. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, and work instructions to define and document as-built configurations. You'll play a crucial role in supporting business objectives and ensuring seamless manufacturing processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 4 years of relevant work experience, or Associate's degree with 6 years, or HS/GED with 8 years.
- Experience as a Manufacturing Planner.
- Proficiency in CAD Software.
- Ability to analyze and interpret engineering data, including reading 2D and 3D drawings and specifications.
- Understanding of manufacturing engineering processes.
- Proficient in computer skills including client software.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Gold ESP & MESCI.
- Experience with WIRS.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead department/organization processes for developing manufacturing concepts and strategies.
- Support mechanics with clarification related to planning and engineering drawings.
- Prepare build analyses and cost estimate reports.
- Lead integration of suppliers, processes, materials, data, and technology.
- Participate in source selection to meet manufacturing requirements.
- Manage complex tooling requirements and lead investigations of manufacturing issues.
- Perform producibility assessments and support enterprise-level benchmarking.
- Develop work statements and scheduling templates.
- Draft, update, and review processes and procedures for business and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and document new job practices, techniques, and standards.
