Description:What You Will Be Doing

As a Manufacturing Planner, you will be responsible for efficient and accurate movement of material both physically and systematically through the different production plants. You will:

  • Manage the A2A site that creates requests for unplanned work through the fabrication departments at the different sites.
  • Administrate the SWAP process for the movement of parameter effective major components from one tail assignment to another.
  • Perform audit of all SWAP SAP transactions to identify process gaps and reoccurring errors, working with IT and Finance to resolve data errors during and post SWAP activity.
  • Own of all data and forms retentions through SharePoint site and owner of automated system activity and requests.
  • Assist with project management actions to right size inventory and scrub systematic transactions that create false inventory.
  • Support PC line and FAB shop with weekly metrics that include Auto closure Errors. Aged Orders, Line Rejects, Aged Virtual Inventory, and Lost in Shop. Also, manage Aero to Aero Transfer (ATA) and monitor payback span time.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in Production or Production Control
  • Familiar with warehouse operations and processes
  • Familiar with SAP

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with PLS and related materials
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Continuous improvement experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in data manipulation and creating metrics

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
